Market Manager

POSITION SUMMARY:
Crane Composites, a subsidiary of Crane Co, specializes in highly engineered products in niche markets and is the world's leading provider of fiber-reinforced composite materials.
The Market Manager is part of the cross functional team responsible for developing and implementing Strategic and Operating Plans toward the retention of current business and gaining new business. Supporting these Plans, the Market Manager is focused on the value proposition of our solutions, product planning and execution (Product Life Cycle), creation of marketing tools, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements and working closely with cross functional teams to ensure that customer satisfaction, revenue and product profit margins are achieved.
PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assess market competition by comparing Crane products to competitive products including FRP, thermoplastics and traditional materials.
Manage the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities including regular product line assessments
Specify market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research. Provide insight and support to better understand market trends and needs.
Evaluate the key channels to market. Review key customers/distributors and market share and provide recommendations for growing share and margins.
Identify and evaluate specific business growth opportunities. Identify and evaluate new markets for existing products and new product opportunities that can be developed from current technologies or acquired via purchasing or licensing.
Lead cross functional project teams associated with strategic growth initiatives
Develop new product proposals and assist with new product development projects as needed
Develop product pricing strategies to enable market share growth and position Crane products in the market based on the product's value proposition.
Partner with market VP and marketing to develop engaging marketing materials to support product lines and convert our customers to Crane products
Prepare monthly and quarterly forecasts and provide information regarding the market conditions to enable full understanding of current and future market conditions.
Provide the sales organization with product knowledge and installation training
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
BS in Business or Marketing
3-5 years' experience in external sales, business development, marketing or product management
Experience in development and implementation of strategies and assessing market and opportunities through market analysis tools.
Strong communication and presentation skills
Ability to coordinate the efforts of a cross functional team of diverse creative employees.
Demonstrated ability to increase productivity and continuously improve methods, approaches, and departmental contribution. Commitment to continuous learning.
Advanced analytical skills and knowledge with MS Excel
Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office, Salesforce and Sales Excellence

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
