Learning Area Manager

Job summaryThe NASC Learning Area Manager is an active member of the Sort Center's Leadership Team, driving and supporting site performance and network initiatives.
Successful candidates will have a proven operational execution track record, creative, true hands-on approach, as well as strong knowledge of warehousing/manufacturing, Learning Management Systems and data-driven, analytical thinking skills.
In addition, effective presentation and persuasion skills are a must.
This role requires the ability to influence without authority.
L5 LAMs have expanded scope and responsibilities over a L4 LAM; must have proven track record of strategically supporting operations in their building and learning initiatives in the network.
The Learning Area Manager will:
Actively manage a team of training specialists including their deployment, development and productivity.
Ensure that the work of the team and individuals is continually aligned to meet internal customer's needs.
Act as a proactive and productive liaison/partner with the corporate NASC Learning Department consistently seeking to make a positive impact on key business safety, quality, productivity, and customer experience metrics.
Employee Development:
Foster the development and growth of Amazon employees (i.
e.
, mentoring, teaching, etc.
)Contribute to and implement training programs for associates, managers, trainers and others (i.
e.
, participating in and conducting needs analysis, skills development classes, cross-training, manager leadership training, etc.
)Ensure that the Learning Department creates/updates accurate and useful information for training programs and other training documentation/aidsPartners with process owners to ensure documentation standards are followedFacilitate training classes; communicate policies and procedures to managers and new employees as neededActively seek, clarify and understand information from Operations and Area Managers that leads to an understanding and ownership of SC performance and goals and required YOY improvements and provide training assistance where necessary in order to achieve these goalsFully understand workflow, daily safety, quality and production goals and reports used to drive the businessReact quickly and efficiently to production imperatives, scheduling conflicts and network-wide rolloutsEnsure and drive best practices standardization across all departments and sitesEnsure network standard training programs are implemented and consistently utilized as required in the fulfillment centerDirectly supervise Tier 3 Trainers and indirectly direct the work of Tier 1 AmbassadorsExecution & Analysis:
Manage training content and ensure execution of programs around Learning and Operational Leadership Development, at all levels.
Ensure that training is tracked and recordedCreate, manage and update training content and track compliance to these training materialsAdminister methods for gathering and tracking training metricsAnalyze and understand data to suggest improvements for training and operationsTrack and communicate Learning Department goals, assignments and progress locally and at a network levelTake ongoing responsibility for ensuring that the Sort Center is operating safely and take immediate action to correct where necessaryOwner of Powered Industrial Equipment Training Program and maintains proper documentation related to PIT certificationAnalyze and track Trainer Standard Work to ensure site is executing to the planTrack and manage site's Continuous Improvement activities and manage communication through the Leadership Steering CommitteeDrive Continuous Improvement metrics at the site while ensuring Continuous Improvement activities are properly coordinated.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
