You'll play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service, ensuring a smooth operation, and contributing to our practice's growth.
As our Patient Care Coordinator, you'll be the first point of contact for our patients, responsible for greeting and welcoming them as they arrive, answering phone calls and emails, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, and providing information about treatment options and fees.
In addition to these primary responsibilities, you'll also be responsible for:
Building and maintaining relationships with our patients, ensuring that they receive the care and attention they need to feel comfortable and confident in their dental care.
Coordinating with other members of the dental team to ensure that patients receive the highest quality of care in a timely and efficient manner.
Managing patient payments and insurance claims, ensuring that patients are able to receive the care they need without financial stress.
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
A high school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree or certification in medical/dental office administration is preferred.
At least 2 yeasr of experience as a dental patient care coordinator.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in using computer software, including practice management software, Microsoft Office, and electronic health records.
The ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures, which would be a plus, but we'll provide training to help you learn.
